I reckon he didn't pay 6 for the van or 6 for the bike or spent 2 grand on bike parts, just quotes RRP prices and prices other ones sell for ebay etc to sound more internet rich.

Just another hobby. People spend money on hobbies. Get over it.

There's nothing for me to get over I couldn't care less what he spends his money on, just seems crazy to me that a bicycle could cost £6,000.

No. But I'm sure with enough effort a £200 bicycle could.

You were comparing a 15 year old Corsa to a high end mountain bike, didn't say there was anything wrong with it, did I.

I don't get the argument. I bought a bike that's more than capable of riding the stuff I ride. Not sure what the issue people are having about that. Cycling is my hobby these days, cara used to be.

Spend as much as you like on your hobbies. But don't use it for bragging rights haha

Nail on the head, no one cares what you do and what your hobbies are and how much they cost that's down to personal preference, but prick Barnes feels the need to attatch an RRP price tag with everything he owns and make out he's some kind of big roller for owning a bike that once upon a time had an RRP of £6k and that he probably paid no where near that for. And anyone who has more assets that a push bike and a shonky old van get classed as drug dealers or in my case a gypo who relies on cash hand outs from my family lol, poor guy just wants to feel like he's succeeding at life, if bragging about a push bike on a corsa forum helps him do that I think we should let him have his moment.
