I've done far worse under the Conservatives than I did under Labour. Teresa May is a nightmare and hasn't got a clue. If she gets into power after Cameron, we're in even more trouble.

Had a paper through door from Green today. Round my house I've had one for Labour and for Lib Dem. No where on line does it say we get 3 votes in local yet the flyers all say we do. Makes no difference I suppose, I've already decided how I'm voting but one of my mates is beside himself with the confusion

As with any party, there is some individuals who has views which are not really welcome within their party.

I can 100% say my step dad is not racsist, nor would he entertain it, if they were racist. The local party has 2 black people within it for starters....

What my step dad has though, is 30 years of owning his own business on a street which has gone from English, to completely surrounded by forigen shops, with signs on the stating no English. One shop keeper even told him, within a year all these shops including yours will be owned by forigners...

Funny thing is I only live a few roads away from my mum, and she's only had Labour & Green through the door whereas we've only had UKIP & Conservatives... weird.

BBC News website has a vote calculate and it tells you how many parties need to club together to form a government.

Cons need Lib Dem, UKIP plus all the little independents.

Labour only need Lib Dem and SNP.

This is going to be the worst election in political history; it's going to lead to a terrible hung parliament with ridiculous amounts of in-fighting to gain a majority one way or another. In short don't vote labour unless you're happy with the SNP having a huge influence in government.

The country is going to end up with no clear leadership for months on end. Voting in anyone but the traditional three parties will screw up the country and set us back years if not decades - if UKIP get in with the conservatives, it'll be another disaster given that Cameron has promised a referendum on leaving the EU - that would also be an absolute travesty and send us back to the dark ages; having no free trade agreement will screw British business whether they trade with Europe or not.

Given that UKIP are super Tories as well I don't see that as a good thing...

So if you're mortgage deal was up at the end of may, would you renew now or after the election?...

We've just spent 5 years with a hung-parliament in coalition and times are great!

Has everyone already forgotten how shit things were 5 years ago?

I wonder if the party members who originally promoted the whole "Lets vote for Ed Miliband to lead the party, he's young just like Tony Blair was and voters love young people." campaign are now thinking: "Note to self: Next time vote for someone with a personality and a soul".

I'm actually thinking Con-Lib coalition with UKIP back up might be a good thing.

Cons have the weight, Lib Dem have the middle ground and UKIP will shake things up but at the same time will be reigned in by the other two.

My thinking anyway!

100% agree.. The Conservative / Lib-dem coalition is the best thing to happen to politics for a LONG TIME.

So far today i've had shit through the door from the following:

- My union (unite) who wank off labour. Piss off, never in a million years would I vote for them.

- Labour, obviously thrown through the door in an angry fashion as it was about 10 feet inside the house

- Conservative, same leaflet i've had for the last month, usually 3 times a week.

- Ukip, was going to go out and give it back to him but he disappeared from view very quickly. I recognised his face. He was the actual candidate, Tim aker.

Makes a change from all the others paying some jobless guy 10p a leaflet to deliver them.
