Oh and full length Private plates (unless they spell something out) are pretty pointless as 99% of people wouldn't even notice it was a private plate.

Used to have it spaced but the m62 traffic police seemed to want to have a few good nights out at my expense
I had 3 fines (£60 each) in 3 months then a letter from the DVLA suggesting one more and they will revoke my plate and remove from my possession

I bought S700ART and it doesn't bother me that people can guess my name, however what does bother me sometimes is the amount of money I spent and I do think I could have should have spent it on something wiser so make sure you really want one

Any short plate is legal if you leave the 11mm margin around the edge, along woth the BSAU mark and postcode of plate maker.

Does anyone else remember JK's Lambo? (I'm sure it was JK) He kept getting pulled for his 'illigal' (L8MBO iirc) plate so he had one manufactured exactly to the BS standard which was literally the letters with a yellow outline and the exact spacing to the millimetre.
