Maybe so, but his career is over and he'll never work anywhere decent ever again.

Just read some of the evidence that's been tweeted. Jesus christ, it's a bit disturbing.

I'd have a bit of compassion for him if she lied about her age, but she appears to have told him straight off she was 15 and he still pursued her.

I believe the age of consent in some countries is 15. Spain I think? Though this isn't Spain, so you need to respect the laws of the land.

Guilty now too, not guilty on the other charge though. What the fuck goes through people's heads sometimes? This is a top level footballer with a Mrs already, no doubt has girls throwing themselves at him yet he actively pursues someone he knew to be 15.

Tbh whilst I don't agree with it, the temptation must always be there. As long as these girls throw themselves at rich guys, they're going to get taken advantage of.

A 15 year old knows what's right and wrong, just as much as a 28 year old guy does. Obviously the girl has been easily led by the glamour of it all, but that doesn't make her innocent either.

But the law is the law and he was bang to rights as soon as he admitted grooming her. He should've known better. Not sure why he'd risk everything for a teenage school girl, but that's up to him to explain.

I feel.Sorry for his ex girlfriend and child. That poor kid is going to grow up hounded in school because her dad has been given the same label as Saville, Harris etc.
