The a28nel has different turbo too and intake pipes are less restricted all little jobs Vauxhall kind of learnt from the vxr and perfected all easily done to the vxr yourself to free up ponies too, if you were planning on buying an engine for example is pay less for a z28net and bring it upto spec rather than for out insignia money

Are you Straight Through now then? Did you get the Pre-Cat done yet?

I'm going for a pair of the Rear box bypasses this weekend (if work trip allows) and then I'll be running straight through...

Oh, the people that did my Middle section fabrication also didn't bother replacing the Hangers that came off with the silencer by adding some to the pipework either, like yours...

Regarding power loss - the Z4 is Normally Aspirated, whereas these Barges run Turbos - removing things in the Exhaust and losing Back Pressure isn't really an issue for us. The Turbo will do it's job a bit better if anything with less pressure to try to evacuate gases against.

Plus we then get a proper growly V6 tone with some pops and crackles...

Straight through bar the precat haven't had that done yet but may not bother as matts is totally straight through and they sound the same lol, precat is only like s teabag inside anyway, I probs will do it at some point but it's gone right to the bottom of the list now as it sounds so much better, really loud when it's on choke but settles and isn't too bad

Yeah he said he didn't both because the box is dead heavy so is the cat so when you remove them there no real need for a hanger as there's no weight there any more

I hope mine is different to how it is now.

Pre-cat is well worth it, not for the noise (that done alone made marginal difference to the sound of mine), but for the improved response.
