Need your guys help.

Me and 3 others will be partaking in a Charity Banger Rally to Italy.

Need ides of a car and team theme.

Me and one other went for Cool Runnings, easy to do and paint a car like it.

The idiot in the group said Inbetweeners and use a Cinquecuento or Seicento. But forgot three of us are over 6ft!.

Ideas, but nothing too crude.

What ever you do, don't cover the entirety of the car in fur like we did a few years back; cars tend to overheat when you

By the way, who are you doing the rally through? Looking at doing another one sometime and the last lot we used were absolute shite.

Some themes I photographed from the one we did a couple of years ago;

Safari;

Hawaiian Car Bar;

Thunderbirds;

Military Jet (had a remote operated working Nerf gun built into the wing too )

Barn Find;

Planet Express / Futurama;

Race Car;

Ghostbusters;

Fast & Furious;

Advice - keep it pretty simple - it's a banger rally, shonkiness is not frowned upon.

Sensible advice - Get the biggest thing you can, try for a Diesel. Get somethig you can collectively fix yourselves should it need it - take a few spares and tools (a lot of cars in our rally had Cooling system issues - If you are passing over the Alps, this is where it will get strained most...)
We had a Mk1 Espace for 3 of us, all 6ft+ - loads of room for our gear and spares/tools, pretty comfy especially with working AC, and it was economical (Gatwick - Naples and back, 4-5 tanks of Diesel)

Chunderturd

The lads are still keen on the Cinquecento idea and Inbetweeners.

I wanted a 520 estate

It is organised through a local charity, all in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance and Cornwall Hospice Care.

Already told the others I'll be driving the Stelvio Pass.

I'd choose a theme which included something massive and comfortable.

You'll regret the Cinquecento idea as soon as you hit the motorway.

This is what I said. Rest of the team said" Yeah, but it's more fun thinking we won't make it".

Main aim is a bit of fun though, so we aren't looking for a clean car theme, more something to be laughed at

Yes, but you shit yourself about a bit of Iceberg more than the Titanic did, so your point of view is invalid.

October.

Start in St Austell, then over to Salo, Italy.

Looking forward to all the challenges.
One year they had to get as close to Stonehenge as they could without being caught/arrested. That was the first night, some people didn't make the ferry because of it

You'll have to get pics up

Ideal!

I did say I wanted something sporty for the Stelvio Pass. Although a Suzuki Carry could be fun...

Yeah, it was originally going to be just two of use and we would of got something cool (or used my Corsa GSi) but we figured splitting the cost four ways makes more sense.

Two of us really wanted a T5 Volvo but couldn't find one local enough in budget

You'd make it, it'd just be no fun cramped up in a shit car that drives shit.

How many of these people who want a little shit box have ever driven any distance?
