Broke the bastard passenger side window regulator because I stupidly tried to put it down while it was still a little frozen

Installed my new Recaros. Stood back and admired them. Went to drive off... and realised there were no seat belt buckles

hope the ones off my old seats fit.

Fitted Facelift heater controls, thought all was well until I went for a drive and wondered why the air vents weren't blowing hot air and they didn't seem to function correctly

Seems I'll need to butcher the new dials onto my old heater control.

I fitted facelift controls to the van and everyone thought I was mental buying the expensive adapters from Shapeways, now I've seen all of the others who bought the cheapy 'stick' adaptors who have fucked up their heater controls I feel I made the right choice

Undone all wiring connections and coolant hoses to remove the engine.

Then need to do the same job again on the donor. Hoping to get it all done and back in before I go on holiday next week

Couple of shockers, ball joints and an exhaust needed to make it perfect. Not bad for a 13 year old van.

Why would you leave a laptop ''on show'' in your car?

Changed the Xenon bulbs as one had blown up inside the lens and was jamming the self-leveling adjuster.

One more thing ticked off the list.

Took my laptop out the boot, took my wallet off the passenger seat and filled with £46 of diesel. Left my iPhone 5 in the glove box. Might take that out later, been in there months.

I left 10 grand on the passenger seat of my car with the windows open and a big sign on the roof saying 'free cash' because I'm hard.
