I had to replace alternator, tensioner and belt on my audi last weekend. It was exciting.

Corrado - Going to finish painting the rear end and the underseal, picking up rear axle and bits from plasticoaters these weekend, so can start putting car back together.

Ended up being dearer than I initially thought, yes Bought the new discs and pads a few weeks ago, went to fit them and the front calipers were seized big time. Got the new calipers today and fitted the lot. At least I know all the brakes are top notch. Noticed a fucked CV boot whilst I was at it tho

I have had a similar experience Brett. Ended up making a silly on the spot decision and got genuine brakes which cost a fucking fortune brakes are kind of the bare minimum though so I suppose I'll let that one slide

I've sold cars because they needed less spending on them in the past

This is my 4th Impreza and since I always end up going back, I've told myself I'm going to hang onto this one and spend a bit of money on it
