That is cheap. My 686 was nearly a grand dearer than that. It was new mind, not that that makes any difference.

What's the difference between the 686s and my normal one?

Went to the shooting show today.

Looked at alot of guns. Couldn't really decide on something but there was a company selling some s/h guns at 3 really cheap.

Went there and picked up a Midlands Gun Company 12B for £195 with a beretta gun slip worth £50 and a non shooting gilet worth £50 all in the package. Needed a case anyway and the gilet will come in handy.

Will be a nice rough shooting gun and a few clays. Tbh it feels really nice and fits betters than my brothers beretta silver pigeon so worth the punt.

Is that a SBS, Graeme? Sounds like a bargain!

I need to pull my finger out and buy a gun so I can just start putting some lead through it to practice.

No it's a O/U, single trigger, ejector. Only thing is it's fixed chokes but tbh I don't really know what I'm doing regarding them anyway.

I'll only use this as a practise gun till I decide what I really want to buy.

Modded my cabinet today by adding a motion controlled LED light:

How high up the cabinet should you stick the foam gun divider?

Still need to attach mine.

New Browning 525. As its the 2015 it comes with grade 2 stock, nicer engraving and invector+ chokes. It's lovely.

Managed to cover my dining room table in shite when trying to clean it though

Who wants to teach me how to shoot then?! I managed 37 out of 75 this afternoon, need to get better than that!

Finally got the firearms officer coming round next Tuesday to check my cabinet so I can have the guns at mine.

Better fix it to the wall tommorow!

Went to Cotswold Clay Club this morning for a 50 round. On arrival I found that the ground was fibre wad only, so I had to buy a couple boxes from them. Not bad at £5 a box. They were Eley First (28gm 7.5) and bugger me they had some kick on them. Shoulder is suffering now!

I will be making sure I stock up on Comp-X in advance of going next time.

It's a nice little ground though, 30p per clay and some interesting presentations. I got introduced to a pair of guys who would show me around, I found out halfway through that they run a website www.shitshooters.co.uk and as I lost (only by 4 clays) I get my photo put up there later

Managed 30/50 which is a better % then yesterday which is good. I'm going to have to make sure that I get plenty of practice in before any CS meet up!

Should I clean the gun then before storing it pop some snap caps in and fire the gun?

After feeling the thump from the cartridges this morning I might take you up on the offer of the D30 recoil pad if you can find it anywhere. I wouldn't mind trying it.

I'll have a gander for it. As for snap caps, load of crap. You don't jack your car up on a night to release pressure on the springs do you?

Also not a good habit to be putting things in your gun and firing it inside.

Infact, they are banned at a shoot near me.
