I found it easier to let gravity do the work

Passenger standard seat mounts out. Going to weld in some proper tubing with mounting brackets.

Surprised you lived working under the car with the axle stands like that !!

Sold the c20xe as I already had a Z16XE with jenvey throttle bodies and emerald ecu. Mapped to 140bhp so a bit short of the c20xe power but saves a bit of weight.
Also with a new inlet manifold and hopefully a tweek to the map I can switch to a Z18XE for a bit more power.

I hadn't realised corsaport had become so health and safety minded. Don't worry despite how it looked it was fairly stable and I never got underneath it was just to get the engine out

Makes sense can't beat throttle body noise! If you've got such a good set up aswell it's a waste not to use it.
Re the axle stands id get some bigger ones not with risking it

Got a bit done over Christmas

Fuel lines in engine bay done with fpr snuggly fitting to the lower expension tank mount
Also made a mounting plate four the coil pack even though sbd site says its fine mounting it through two holes I didn't like it when it was isa it sits on the piss and looks a bit bodged

Started on the inside electrics

Got the starter done but can't test until I get a cam belt.
Then the indicator lights seem to have a contant low voltage supply but still flash
Main beam warning light works but problem with the hand brake light.

So with the garage finished I can get back to this

Drivers seat fitted to proper seat rails like passenger side above. Also switched to cobra side mounts after trying to go cheap ordered omp ones but they were to high

Small update

MOT passed yeah.

Drove it with the 1.6 engine for the first time today to the mot. The power is amazing( I'm used to a 1.9 diesel)

Got a bit of work to do to bring it back from mot spec and I'm not sure if it's the green stuff brake pads but braking is crap
