"The terror threat to the UK has been raised from substantial to severe, Home Secretary Theresa May has announced.

This means that a terrorist attack is "highly likely"............ Although Mrs May stressed that there is no information to suggest an attack is imminent."

Wasn't there a terror attack at Glasgow airport involving a car being driven in to the building?

Crashes happen all the time, this made the news because it involved an airport. No big deal.

Crashes with a boot full of gas cylinders, hardly mainstream.

Do the maths on it.

1 in Glasgow.

How many in England?

I think anything over 10% would mean you can't rule it out.

How many in England?

July 2005 in London.
May 2008 in Exeter.
May 2013 in Woolwich.

So a quarter of all attacks in this decade are north of the border. That's not none.

They don't want to bomb Scotland because it's a shithole no one cares about and won't get any international news coverage.

Goodbye and good riddance.

and surprise surprise, David Cameron is set to announce new "Security Measures" in the coming days based on this newly raised threat level, even though the government have confirmed there is no evidence to suggest anything will happen.

It doesn't matter who you vote in, they're all as bad as one another.
