So the new bumper I bought didn't come with front fogs, I assume I could swap them over, but they don't fit correctly.

I started modyfying the brackets (and it was working) then I realised if have to sell old bumper without fogs too, which would make things harder. So, I decided to fit fog light blanks. Bought from Vaux cost just over £10, new fogs would have cost £45.

Old v new bumper

Old from end vs new

Still awaiting 3 more arches in post, and few little bits. Then it's probably up for sale

Nice way of working around a problem there. Fogs are useless anyway. Haven't missed them on mine.

Yeah, it's not the nicest. Sounds ok.

Today, I picked up theist panel
I'm replacing. 6 hour round trip due to traffic. Stopped on way back and win this. Not all bad

Anyway, out with the old

The new. Will have to de badge it as it's a 1.2, and haven't even wiper it over yet. Looks mint under the dirt

Took ages to get all the wiring through the tiny holes.
Also picked up soldering iron by wrong end.'nice lump of a blister now.

Id rather just debadge, any fading will polish up simple enough! If not im sure you can buy them on ebay i always see adds for them! Not sure why he had a pre face front end with a facelift rear but the facelift front end looks soooo much better imo!

Nice work bro

Change exhaust, facelift front lights, finish off the arches and it'll be a beauty. Could go scrappy and get a badge mate?

Lights cost around a third f the car, it's false economy. I have some arches on the way, so will freshen it up.
Same with the exhaust, I don't like it either, but to pay another £60 or so is pointless.

Better than all the scrapboxes you've owned.

If this was in your hands it would have a stupidly big aerial on it, plates with the wrong font on, and be a diarrhoea yellow colour.

My car doesn't have a big aerial , and if your diarrhoea is yellow I think you should go to your gp tbh for I've never seen yellow shit
