That shot where the frog is flapping about on the plate is terrible, but as said, it has no internal organs etc so can't really be alive? Maybe I'm wrong.

Really can't see how that would be appetising.

Western palate is obviously different compared with an Eastern one. Massive cultural differences.

Personally, I'd try any food at least once.
If it's tasty, I'd eat that shit all day long tbh.

Don't be too hasty to judge. It could be fucking delicious!

Am all for trying new things within reason but a frog that's still flapping about is a bit much .

I like steak but it doesn't mean I'd run into a field and bite a chunk out of a cow

Does the video show anybody diving into a pond to munch the head off of a frog? Your statement doesn't mean anything.

Also, let's face it. As most people will know from biology at school, or at least tv, frogs twitch like mad.
Looks like a complete hippies convention in here

More worried about it being cut open whilst alive.

Moving on the plate is likely to be outside of consciousness but it looks fairly awake when he first takes the knife to it.

no different from pretty much most sea fish, albeit they are cut open whilst on the boat, still have a knife stuck in them and their insides torn out, only difference is this is a lot sooner from that happening to eating it.

Saw a far worse vid where they had a carp on a plate and it was skinned and they were picking bits out of it and it was evidently still alive, horrible.

Not a big difference from a blue steak tbh, there are plenty of dafties who have admitted to ruining a piece of otherwise quality meat in this way. I'm a fussy bastard when it come to food so wouldn't even entertain the thought of this toad thing - I don't see why people are finding it so difficult to wrap their head around though. They eat anything ffs

plenty people eat lobsters/crabs which are either cooked alive in boilng water or have a big knife stuck into their head, difference is you dont see that bit, arguably some foods are better eaten as fresh as possible, just extreme with this one.

I go rabbiting, accept fresh venison from hunts, accept fresh fish from fishers etc.
I work with food everyday.
I accept that we eat what we eat.

See it everyday and don't squirm at the sight of anything, tbh. Apart from poop when you do the gutting

I usually get a little bit of bloody juice coming from the medium rare steaks that I and any other sensible non hipster person would go for. Cold meat is for having on your sandwiches at lunch.

I find the majority of people who take a blue steak take a blue steak for the sole reason of talking about the fact they take a blue steak.
