Shame. Absolutely epic from CR though, they deserve tonnes of credit. They didn't bow down and get shafted like Spain.

The whole Robben bashing left right and centre is utterly ridiculous. Like he's the only one who has dived in football? Do me a favour. Is it also lost on the BBC when showing footage the double penalty he should of got against Mexico? I agree sometimes it looks so theatrical, but blimey, the speed he's running at the laws of gravity show that one slight clip will send you tumbling, that's how it works!

Also felt last night he had rough treatment but the referee did pretty well with it.

I still think Argentina will beat Holland, Germany will beat Brazil and the Germans will win it.

I like LVG, he's basically a lunatic! There's no way you'd want to mess with this guy if you're one of his players. Get on his wrong side and you're a bit fucked. He doesn't care what our name is, either, if he has to make a decision he isn't scared of doing it. Very much a disciplinarian. Should be interesting.

Thought it was ballsy and very impressive decision by LVG. Love to have seen the fallout had CR won though

Don't like to see the needless psyching Krul did though

Sounds like the Krul act was not fully planned. Cillessen didn't know anything about it and was rather pissed at being taken off.

Fancy Brazil tonight, Germany have been poor for me and the crowd will be raucous.

Wouldn't be surprised with a penalty shoot out.

I'd love Germany to walk it, but I don't see it. They should win, but as you say, the crowd can make the difference. The Brazilian's will give their all and I don't know if Germany will cope with the atmosphere/high tempo.
