That's a bargain. What are they doing, just removing it altogether?

Straight pipes on instead of backbox. Put my machine monkey tips back on. Think I'm going to just weld it on instead of flanges.

You'll have to get plenty of pics for me.

I've got friends who live up burnley/Accrington way so could even use the same place if all goes well. Think i'm coming up may bank hols.

Seriously? Get yourself up here! Some great photo locations up here too.
The garage is called DCMS. Not sure if they still are but they useto be part of powerflow. They have done some good work in the past. Had a very tasty 911 turbo outside today too

Had my exhaust done today! Bloody hell it's brutal now! Love it. Definitely not for the faint hearted!
Only charged me £90 full stainless.
Not got a video clip yet but I've got a few photos.

Didn't want aftermarket looking tips so I've put the machine monkey ones back on

Yeah I'll sort both them out tomorrow, the exhaust looks exactly as it did before though which I'm happy with

I did record it on my phone but it just doesn't show the noise for what it really is. Far more insane than any video I've heard

I went out to try record one but it was too windy and the exhaust just distorted the mic.

I'm in love with it tho

How does it sound on idle? Does it drone at motorway speeds?

Really fancy doing mine now, especially considering my backbox hanger is snapped.

Silent on idle. When I first slipped the clutch in to coast up to a roundabout I thought it had turned off
No real drone when on motorway. Just abit when accelerating. Seems to be worst at 3k revs then settles back quiet after that.

I mean when pushing it. When cruising the exhaust settles.
But going up through the rev range it's at about 3k that drone hits it's peak, once it stops resonating is great again

I think its a bit too OTT, its a nice sound but does not suit the car at all, sounds like the hondas around here with their jap cans.

Sounds far from anything jap
Its raw straight 6 noise not just exhaust noise like on a 1.0 corsa like what i had before.

It was too refined and boring before
