Fox will only let Mojo do warranty work, no one else can take it on.

Did a brief 14km ride this morning. Hadn't been on the bike for about a month or done any other exercise

Was dying after the first couple of miles; was surprised how unfit I'd become over the last few weeks. All that Christmas alcohol and food!

Got into a rhythm and was fine for most of it but was noticeably slower than I'd normally be.

Where abouts in Derby do you cycle? I live in the centre and the cycle paths are all flat and a bit boring. Anywhere close by you'd recommend for a road bike?

I know I am quite late to the party! I've been servicing stuff for my mates and myself for years. I've done everything from Mag21's to Fox 40's so I figure I might as well have a push at it too seen as I really don't like my job!

Going to try to make a proper go of it, if you don't try then you cannot moan. Plus if it does not work I have all the tools in place after trying to make doing my own forks far, far easier.

Fair play and good luck

For the past few months I've been buying and splitting bikes to try start a business and can easily make over a grand a month doing so, biking is such a big market and servicing forks should be successful.

Sunday ride. Fell off a few times on a rocky descent hopefully got it on camera. Snow and ice on the tops of the mountains today, made for some lovely riding, not.

from the city, a good loop with a nice hill in either direction is out on the A6 Duffield Road towards Belper, up Belper hill and over the top then back down Derby road from the Kilburn traffic lights to the Little Chef island.
Longer distances towards Matlock Bath maybe?

Yeah I just did a really short loop from the centre out to Raynesway and back this morning. Need to get my fitness back!

I live just west of the inner ring road and work at Raynesway so just use the cycle path along the river past Pride Park when commuting. Just flat and boring like I said.

Not a huge fan of cycling on busy roads as I don't trust drivers, prefer to stick to quiet roads and proper cycle routes. I'll have a look at some of those routes you've suggested though.

Makes a massive difference if you use the vented rear door. Sadly in these conditions I wouldn't want to as it rains when riding and you can fall in a puddle easily so it may damage the camera.

It picks up a lot of noise from my bag strap that was flapping about. I think the newer model with its case is maybe a bit better.

I've been out loads on my bike since I got it in December, absolutely loving it! With all the rain we've had down here the trails and paths have turned to mud baths, which is making it quite entertaining. Anyway I've not got any mudguards and I'm getting caked all over.

At the weekend I was laughing as we were flying along a trail and ended up with it all in my teeth

What's the general consensus on mud guards?
