Not sure to be fair, I got a deal on the 4-2-1 and a stainless steel cat back system for £500 the lot! I don't know the cost of the individual parts.

I'm in need of a plug cover, does anyone know if there is somewhere that sells them? aside from SBD as they want £80 which is a little steep ....

If not I will have to make one from ally sheet

It does look very nice, but with the rocker cover being a fake carbon effect .... real carbon fibre would make the rest look pretty pony. I just need something the right shape, I have a plan for the finish

Postman made me a very happy boy today, forged pistons and rods finally arrived meaning that the engine can finally go back together and in the car

No updates for a while, progress has been pretty slow. Had to work out how to change the vauxhall timing system to use a ford pickup, this was a total nightmare with the end result being me mutilating the bottom pulley and welding on the teeth from a ford. At least it works now.
Engine is now going back into the car .... hopefully get some pics up over the weekend.

I am looking at an Astra GTE digital dash .... I think these look epic, are they difficult to install / wire up etc?

It has been a while since I have updated this thread, things have been moving slower than I had anticipated. There has been a lot of welding required on the underneath of the car, despite assurances from the bodyshop I used that everything was perfect, it turns out that the rear suspension had virtually collapsed and had to be almost completely re-built.

Still, now the underside is solid and has been undersealed to protect it from future rot

There has been slow progress on the engine, trying to match up the Vauxhall parts with the ford timing/ignition system has been a pain, managed to get the ford crank sensor fitted to the C16 and wired into the loom. The engine is now in !!!!

I know, I have been seriously slacking on this .... I have a more recent picture of the engine bay I will upload when I get in from work.

Plenty of work going on with wiring up the megajolt and digi dash, all boring stuff and no pictures I'm afraid.

The front bumper and door handles have been sent off to be sprayed again as I was not happy with the finish. Also had the little ridges on the wingmirrors smoothed off and sprayed at the same time. Will get back over to the car and take more pics at the weekend.

Almost there with the engine bay, I have been searching for a cover for the ABS unit, does anyone know where I can buy one?
