Alonso is leagues ahead of Hamilton JJ sorry

Hamilton isn't ready yet. Too young, too emotional, too soft and too much dependant on his luck. His time will come.

I don't think Jonny was saying that, Jambo.

I don't think Alonso would blow his own trumpet.

Leagues ahead is a bit of an overstatement to say the least! He handled Fernando just fine in his debut season and but for McLaren doing their usual calamity fuck ups would've beaten him and took the WDC, still level is pretty good against a seasoned guy. Also i think his luck is generally atrocious

Anyway as Ben said, it was just a bit of fun aimed at the Lewis bashers when their hero says hes the best in the sport, obviously hes not going to say himself

Alonso is the best in my eyes, followed by Lewis, then Ricciardo, Nico, Bottas, Vettel, Hulk and Grosjean

Toto has since clarified the comments saying that, that would be the worst case scenario whereby the drivers were so uncontrollable they couldnt possibly be in the same team and he doesnt envisage that happening.

I know you were, thats what i was referring to, although slightly trolling Jambo tbh in that he doesnt even make the top 8, i was going to list Ericksson and Massa in there but that would've been too obvious

I'd probably put him in between Hulk and Romain.

Just doing an interview with grandad on the F1 Show. Jenson VERY uncommitted when asked whether he'd be at Mclaren next season.

I think Kyle nailed it a few months back, hes been told to look elsewhere. We'll see

Booo, was hoping they'd break the record this year. Still 15 or so MPH off IIRC.

Williams should just take Massa's rear wing off and see how it goes.

Badly, with him in charge

Might see it hit in quali when they turn the engines up and drain the fuel to the bare minimum. Dont think anyone did a single timed lap.

15mph.off? 348kph is about 216mph iirc. Surely not 230mph?

BTW, was amazed to find out the the engine Lewis used in practice was the one that went up in flames in Hungary! Amazing effort to salvage that.

Same, although he missed an hour of FP2 as the car wouldn't start due to an electrical issue.

Here's hoping that doesn't happen in qualifying. Although the statistics say it will as it's Lewis and he's brown.

Rosberg has gearbox issues in FP3, will sit out the rest and may have to change it and incur a 5 place grid drop

Ok, that means that Lewis will incur a gearbox, engine, helmet and rear wing change and incur a 20 place penalty.

Not seen any of the practices as been in a food and drink coma for days.

DiMontezemolo rumours about him stepping down from F1 or Ferrari motor cars? Happy if they let someone take F1 reins tbh.
