the whole sky f1 thing from what I can see if you are an existing sky hd customer as of sept 1st you will till get it if you were not and upgraded to hd you would need the sports package to view it doesn't look like that's going to change. Also do not under any circumstances add movies or any other packages as you will lose skyf1

So because I removed the hd package on the 3rd january, i wont be able to watch sky f1 Iif I add the pack again?

Will be mega pissed off if so. The bird on the phone didnt say anything about it. She even knew why I was removing it as I said the f1 season had finished.

FIA release numbers list

http://www.fia.com/2014-fia-f1-world-championship-entry-list

Lewis 44, Alonso 14, Rosberg 6, Magnusson 20, Grosjean 8, Raikkonen 7.

Think that covers all the main guys, obviously Vettel is 1 but will use 5 if there comes a time when he isnt Champion.

Interesting to note the stars next to the Lotus F1 team, denoting "Subject to confirmation". I wonder if their financial troubles might mean the wont make the grid? Would be hilarious if they dropped out.

I can't believe a group of men have been asked to pick a number between 2-99 and nobody went for 69. Need to be having a word with themselves.

#69 is Nicky Hayden in MotoGP; I would guess no one has had #46 as it's synonymous with Valentino Rossi. I would guess where a number is so synonymous with another sports person, they'll avoid it to avoid marketing conflicts. MotoGP is bigger in the US than F1 and as it's their growth market and Hayden is the proverbial all American sportsman, I'd guess they don't see it as a good way to market caps, tshirts and umbrellas...

To be fair he was the first rookie to be classified in every single race of his debut season.

Slow and steady wins the ra....oh wait.

Lotus won't be making first testing.

They have said because it won't fit into the development and build programme but in fact it's because they haven't even started car 2. They just simply haven't got the money.

Also red bull have made there fuel tank too big and doesn't fit. Will be running it for first tests but need to change it.
