So I've had abit of a weird few weeks with starting my new job and all that. Getting settled in and looking for a house now with the mrs.
So to celebrate, I decided it's manifold time 😂

Been looking for an obx for months now waiting for rich from orranje to get me one sorted. But he's been messed around that much and kept on the hook by them he's given up and rightly so

Anyways. Didn't want a decat and thought a standard cat would be slightly pointless on a updated exhaust and manifold
So I purchased a direnza 4-1 with a sports car built in. Purchased off The Speed Factory (same place my wheels and exhaust have been bought from). And once again I will say. Cracking service. Cracking price. Good quality products too and the fitment is spot on

No need to cut or weld anything atall. Unbolt the old one. Swop the lambdas over. Bolt the new one on! Easy as that.
Couple of pics

As you can see it's a wider bore than the standard one in the branches and in the pipe itself.
Love the noise and the pops and bangs from it now. And it seems to of added abit more poke lower down the rev range (although this may be me just thinking things... We shal see at the lohen dyno day this month)
Would suggest it to anyone lookin for a cheap alternative to a janspeed or an obx

Anyways. Coilovers next as I keep saying haha

Haha no worries. Bout the same distance for me. Looking forward to getting it on the dyno just want to see what the afr and boost levels are really. Have a feeling it's running a touch lean.

Sorry for the late reply tom.

Was a cracking day. Good few of us turned up. Couple of people didn't. Think there was around 13 cars running so was good. Nice to meet a few of the other mini chaps. Got a lot of comments on the wheels too.

Got the mini on at around 10.30
Pulled 212bhp and 254nm torque.
As I said previously, figures are just figures. All I know is the AFR's are right. Good strong pulls and a good smooth power delivery. So I'm made up.
I'll post the graph in a mo to show you the power curve. It's spot on

Happy days mate nice one!! That's the main reason I had mine on the other week to check the afr on the new set up the only graph I got has got a big dip in it on the curve but that's because he let off ye throttle then planted it again to try and get it to grip and pull on the rollers because of my subframe issues, managed to get 2 motor world specials 17" wheels to lob on the front to raise it a bit for next time lol

Haha good idea that mate. This dyno was a drive straight on dyno with raised rollers. Was brilliant.
Lohen itself was surgically clean and a really nice gaff too.

There's the graph. Power dropped off once at run3 at peak due to temps.
Other than that as you can see. Spot on

Haha I hate decorating with a passion mate. Better you than me. There's another RR day at EFI parts in Runcorn next month if your game?
