I've never really liked the exhaust I've got at the moment. Its a full stainless steel de-cat exhaust system so gives the power just don't like the sound it gives and also have really grown to dislike the tailpipe over time!

Anyway, thing is I think it has got a hole in somewhere as its making that raspy noise when you get over about 2,500rpm so instead of getting it fixed I'm tempted to just go for a Powerflow system. I've heard good things about TopGear in St Albans. Can you have an exhaust system made up there using 2 1/4" piping and also have it all stainless steel with a de-cat?
I want a 4" Slash cut pipe either side of the car but I also want performance as well as good looks.

What I want to know people is... are these exhausts good for performance?

What I was thinking was getting TopGear to fit a Scorpian Grp A 2 1/4" de-cat exhaust system then mate that on to a custom back box with the two 4" slash cut pipes that I wanted. Would this be possible?

I've also heard very good things about the Scorpian Grp A exhausts!

My zorst is fine. had it quite a while. Didn't have "many" problems with it. just one of the welds fell off other than that its all good.

They do actually use VERY cheap SS from south africa, and yes it does rust slightly sometimes. Still make excellent systems.

Think I'm gonna chance it. You only live once!

I'll ring them up and talk about my options. btw, I'm used to going back to places time and time again to get things fixed. After all my engine conversion was done by Regal!

powerflow exhausts get a surface coat of rust on them but the metal underneath is solid. if they were to use a better quality stainless then it would cost more, better quality stainless would stay shiny but that dousn't matter, the only thing you want shiny is the tailpipe and belive me they are. what does it matter anyway with a life time guarentee you wont have any problems..................

Don't Powerflow exhausts use crush bends? If so, then stay away, crush bends are evil.
