Whos on about racing?

You said it wasnt faster...

But it is both faster 0-60 and top end? Not sure what your on about...

Don't really like car related plates unless on something special. If you space it correctly, you might get a few giggles on the road though

Give it up Graham, John's got an Evo now so they're better than M3s, K?

Tbh i gave a pretty fair comparison, the evo handles better and is faster... M3 is far nicer car

His Evo will be faster than the M3. Like he says 0-60 and top end its quicker.

My old one was quicker than my mates in all departments after several attempts by him lol.

The plates cool. Suits the car to a tee. Its screaming out for a do luck style splitter tho, takes away the nose high look they always have.

In real life terms I'd say it's not faster. Top end I'm seeing 157mph limited. So that's a whopping 2 mph faster than a limited M3. Now lets talk about them with the limiter removed. Can a Mitsubishi Evo hit 190+? (Speedo)

Mid range it will be slower than an m3 by quite a bit.

I dont think it is at all tbh but you and graham can assume what you want, fact is a simple remap with a couple supporting mods and it will destroy any e46 m3 thats not turbod/charged...

Its faster, simple as that...

A good argument always consists of a car being faster because you modified it. Thanks John. A reply of a true expert.

It's all gone a bit primary school in here. Just needs a couple of mum jokes now.

If john d says the m3 was slower, then so be it. Why get so wound up? Maybe his m3 was slower than his evo? He's owned both, so entitled to make a fair comparison.

Plates gay as it needs illegally spacing to work, but it's your choice and you'll be the one getting fines so it makes no difference to me.

Thing is if he's talking from a how they drive experience, then I'd agree the Evo 'feels' faster. M3's don't feel fast, not until you look at the speedo.

Just frustrating when someone says their car will destroy an M3, I own one and I've raced the car they say will beat my car, and it doesn't.

Maybe his m3 was down on power? Therefore, his old m3 would infact be slower than his current evo.

Wouldn't let it bother you tbh.
