Hi lol

Set about fitting these coilovers then, meant to make a start Friday evening and spread it over the weekend but I went down with a cold Friday, but felt a bit better today so was a last minute decision.

Heres a pic of the standard strut

As per usual it didn't go quite smoothly, this time it was solid bottom arm balljoints, iv never had to resort to a splitter before, either a crowbar or smack on the side with a hammer frees it, these were solid, so had to go get a splitter

No troubles now

Standard front assembley off the car

Dismantled lol

Thought it a good time to have a wash under here

New front coilover assembled

And fitted

Rear shocks off

New rears assembled with the powerflex top mounts

In

Took for a drive and no rubbing, some of the heights need tweaking as some are a bit lower than others but il sort that in the week when my 5mm shims arrive.

Will get some better pics in the week when iv washed it etc

Looks ok. Do these coilovers not have any sort of adjustment apart from height??

Bet your brake discs are warped now though with you having the jack under them.

Only height adjustment, which also adjustments stiffness the more you wind them in, but its not got any manual adjustment, cant argue for 400 quid though

Sits lovely now old chap. Still don't think much of those racing decals though.

I wish I had a bit of grass/land to photoshoot my car on.

Looks great. I'd personally get rid of the chequered vinyls and de-tango the front indicators.
