*****UPDATE*****
I got the engine stripped down more yesterday:

And obviously needed to show the size of the pistons by fisting it...

Get your tiny hands out of them pistons and use a tin of custard for actual scientific proof

An update just for you Joe

It's pretty clean really, only one oil leak by the belts but otherwise it's good. Inside looks good too.

It'll get new shells, piston rings, bearings, gaskets, crank balanced.

But it will be built up pretty standard as they're good for 400bhp on standard internals. It'll get a bigger turbo, 55lb injectors, 3" elbow off the turbo, ECU chips, AFM kit, Dual port waste gate, intercooler modded for better flow, 3" exhaust eventually and whatever else I've missed.

That spec should give it enough horses to not get bored of for a while

Sweet man. Standard(ish) internals and let the turbo and parts do the work. Love it. Will keep it nice and reliable too.

Also the engine is coming along nicely! Its starting to go back together... I've been pretty slack on photos. I'll get some when I'm next out working on it.

Yeah they look alright! Was expecting a lot worse considering the price. They've been pretty spot on since they've been fitted though.

I did forget to mention though that they weren't the issue in the end and that the actual NSF coilover had broken. Had it sorted and then had the alignment done again which I imagine the eagle eyed people will have noticed due to more front camber. The guy I get to set it up really does a fantastic job of sorting it out and it seems to turn in a hell of a lot better with more camber and caster thrown into the mix.

I'm afraid not, back in the states already - and will be till' late October

Blyton Park 26th October is likely to be the next time my car turns a wheel!

What was broken on the coilover? Snapped spring?

The biggest improvements to my cars handing have all come from caster/castor? Gained about 2.5degrees since I got it and it's significant, though it my arch-gap looks funny as a result!

Ah that sucks.

a valve inside had come unseated, GAZ sorted it out for free under warranty and had it sorted in a day so can't really fault them there.

Yeah the gap can look a bit weird! I think it had very mild camber and caster on the previous setup but asked for something a bit more extreme this time as I plan to get it on track a lot more. I think he said it's 2degrees camber and 5degrees caster with some toe from memory, I could be way off though Whatever it is it works well!

Thank you! Nice to hear it's turning people who weren't as keen on them

The party piece of these cars is defiantly the handling though.
