It doesnt give you 10bhp, you just loose less bhp when it get hot.

that's why I said claimed gain, as ive said before so long as I get around 240bhp I will be happy
may as well make it as reliable as possible along the way and keep inlet temps as low as possible.
rewired front of engine today, moved alternator and starter trigger wires from near brake servo to 6 pin plug on engine to body loom. cut out 1.5metres of wire doing this!
plumbed up all other vacuum lines, mounted ecu in its new location, just rad's, bumper and header tank for charge cooler to fit now. managed to get plenty of wrap around charger and alternator pulley's thanks to a BMW tensioner pulley.

no time for vids, to busy trying to get used to it!
sounds great, pulls hard from the start, but when you plant the pedal from 1k in forth, gets to 1.5k and the wheels spin out. loads of torque steer when it does find some grip. needs the quaffie diff fitting asap!

few more photo's of parts going on, new radiator with 2x 10" kenlowe cooling fans, pre rad mounted and plumbed in, charge cooler header tank mounted, new ecu fitted after test run on old ecu to check wiring was all ok.

had a few parts arrive this week, cam cover seal set, new cam sprocket bolts, bumper nuts and a throttle pedal stepper motor.
so as I had the day off for tinker time before PVS I got on with fitting them all along with a breather filter and the LMF front grill that i've had for nearly 2 years now!
needed the new cam sprocket bolts as the shrick cams are not as good as standard cams once supercharged so swapped the old cams in today as well.
engine is still nice and clean after approx. 30k miles since rebuild.

they removed the rev limiter ran it on the dyno and 283bhp 234blft, at which point they stopped as she was still climbing!
