My Mate has a 1.4 SRI and wants to put a 2.0 engine in. He was told by a few garages that he should get a GSI first then the engine transplant will be easier???

Sounds like Bull shit to me, can anyone tell me whether it is a benfit to have a GSI rather than a 1.4 SRI when it comes to Engine Converstions.

non the difrference basically is the bore and head, looms are the same, only difference might be the fuel pump and radiator, i think

i put a 2.0 i 16v into my 94 1.4 sri corsa they are full of dung mate , get her in mate
