On my 330ci the front brakes where squeeling. Put loads of copper slip on the backs of the pads and it was still making a noise.
So i removed the slide pins and cleaned them up and regresed them with 3 in 1silicone oil.
Never squealed or squeaked since!

It won't just work the rear pads, assuming its the same as most bmws it will have handbrake shoes.

indeed. god knows where the squealing is coming from.

it wasn't too bad today. only seemed to squeal after driving about 10 miles home and only when applying medium/hard pressure. soft braking makes no silly noises.

my brakes have been squeeking a bit from the back so yesterday i took my wheels off to put more copper grease on the back of the pads, but ive noticed one of the pistons are sticking a bit

maybe thats what yours is doing?

wow thats sat perfectly now! low and wide looking.

with speedbumps you will have to do what i do and just put one side of the car over it slowly. or go inbetween.
I nearly ripped my exhaust off when i first lowered it

cheers gav. i may put some 15mm spacers on the rears just to bring the wheels out a bit.

i tried putting one side of the car over them and caught the exhaust on the way down

figured out how to not scrape the one at the top of my road now which is good. just hoping the ones in work aren't too bad.

Looks great, serious lowz at the front. You will have people in shitter hatchback's on 14" steels with 65 profile tyres and 200mm gap in their arches raging behind you on speed bump roads now. I nearly got out of the car and Roidz attacked someone last week for this.

Let me know what spacers you go for as I will be looking for some shortly for when I put my MV2's and winter tyres on.

I don't want something that is going to self destruct like they did on that GTR!

Looks good although wheels need sorting out!

Seth go for Eibach hubcentric spacers. Getting some soon myself to space out the rears.
