How awful have Derby been tonight by the way! The play-off hopes are still a glimmer on the horizon for Leicester still.

Derby threw it away first half, having 57 year old Paul Green mark the quickest man in England, not a great idea.

In fairness they were the better team in the second half, but don't think they had a shot on target all game?

Only watched the last few mins, but Vertoghen looked very good first leg too, would fit into the epl easily too.

You'll have competition from Arsenal though strick..........

Aren't spurs the favourites for him at the moment?

He'd be awesome alongside vermaelen, he is a brilliant defender as well, wasted at arsenal

United were very lucky tonight, Ajax fans kept singing about Suarez, and I thought it was wrong they started singing again when welbeck came on, they were by far the noisiest in old Trafford tonight there were quiet a few of them

By far the noisiest. Was a little disappointed for my first trip to old Trafford. Atmosphere was wank. The Suarez thing was a bit much

The atmosphere at OT has always been wank, because it's full of boring bastard ST holders who don't sing like my inlaws. I've been a few time both in home and away ends.

I thought Ajax were marvellous. Their youth team beat Barca's 4-0 recently. If they can hang on to those players then who knows what they'll achieve. Unfortunately they're not rich anymore and have to 'do a Crewe' to keep afloat

Ajax were fantastic, much better than Napoli.

United bossed the first half mind, not sure what happened in the second, lack of experience maybe but scholes coming on made such a difference, ok so hes not the most elegant player but he breaks up the play so well.

My uncle has got 4 season tickets, I went last night and even he said it was quiet there last night because it was the Europa it wasn't the usual people that go,

Where about did you sit?I was behind the goal in the east stand 7 rows back there really good seats, I caught the ball when it was a corner, and there fans were 2 tiers above me making loads of noise, which is good really

The only place to sit in OT for atmosphere is the Stretford End. Tried the other stands and everyone sits there in silence so only sit in the Stretford End now. Plus it was a Europa league game last night, no one cares about them.
