To get a company to fit a 4X4 running gear into Corsa that doesn't sound bad, think of the labour cost to cut out the floor of a Calibra and a Corsa, and weld it back into a Corsa, along with all the other stuff.

Nice little chassie you've made, but would you do it for free for someone?

if its that simple why isent there loads done? loads of people have "little fab skills"
What happens if the floor pan isent fitted straight? fitted to high? one side higher than the other? etc etc

From what i remember -
Using a 4x4 system from Calibra Turbo not space framing.
Increased front track with of corsa so that it is the same as the calibras. (as using calibra driveshafts all round)
Removed steering rack & refitted 30mm higher up bulkhead so as to clear transferbox. Still very tight though.
Fabricated new lower crossmember to accept rear gearbox mount.

Rear- cut original corsa floor pan out to behind front seats. Weld in Calibra floor pan to mount original calibra independant rear suspension & diff. Petrol tank fabricated in boot.

Prop shaft shortened by 180mm. (taken from the the third section of the shaft at the rear diff end).

Involves a lot of time to make parts, fit them, remove them, modifiy them then refit them etc.

but as you sat Simple's
