As there has been some interest in a meet, I've taken it upon myself to try and get something organised.
I have been a member for a number of years & would like to try get more involved with the club, Hopefully along with the help from you guys we can get a regular thing going 
The East mids is quite wide spread in terms of members location, so a little compromise will be needed for the most northern and most southern people. Currently looking for a central location around Leicester for the first meet, but in ue time we can build up a list of locations around the region to visit throughout the year.

The Leisure park has a veriety of things to do and places to eat, From Vue cinema & Bowling to Harvester, Nando's & pizza hut
Whatever the weather you'll be able to keep warm and dry.
Date & Time
Traditionally on CorsaSport monthly meets are held on the first sunday each month, i think we should stick to this to make it easier for everyone to remember

I'll also point out the this location has been used by CS many moons ago, we've got a lot to live upto:

Cheers for the replies good to see were gathering a bit of interest, I can't see a problem with non vauxhalls everyone's welcome to come along.
Personally I'm thinking we should leave this topic open and possibly set the date for march?

I work next to it. It's quite large. Posh gym uses that car park. There is a few places to eat

If you go first Sunday that is the same as the other regions, makes it easier for people to know what is what.

Could i suggest Newark for a meet as i noticed some come from notts and some come from lincoln ands its nearly in the middle. i know where is a retail park with some shops and kfc and maccys are just down the road from there.

Thanks for the suggestion Karina, we do need other locations for future meets so thats something we could look into But i think since this topic has been up for just over a week we should stick to this location for the first one just so it doesn't get confusing

It's just over an hour away from me and the Northants lot aswell, so relatively central and easy to get to in the region.
