that dash i sourced from a breakers yard and its on an exchange basis, once he has swapped parts over he is going to box his one up in the packaging i sent the flocked dash out in and i will have it collected so that i have that dash to flock for the next person if you want to work this way a deposit is taken on the dash as i have to cover the cost of replacing it with another from the breakers

Im sure this has been asked a 100 times but this is the first time ive seen a full dash done by yourselves. which looks fantastic! How much would it cost to have the dash and all components done?

the corsa b dash set we did for Sean shown earlier in this thread was £226 which was heavily discounted as there were a lot of parts as can be seen in the images, we can also give a good discount if you are supplying your own parts to be flocked
generaly the more parts you have done at once the cheaper per part it is as we will only have one setup and cleaning cost

It does look incredible, and I was expecting it to be a lot more. I may end up having quite a bit done. But I'd also be interested in a/b pillars too. Thanks for the info! (Y)

Pillar trims you say we can do that no problem, here's some we did earlier including color coded adjuster inserts and screw covers

the parts are cleaned, keyed and sprayed in an adhesive matched to the material the part is made from, the flock is individual nylon fibres that are fired end on into the adhesive on the part using electrostatic equipment, it means complex shapes that could not easily be fabric covered can be done seemlessly.
the final finish is a close suede like finish with excellent light absorbtion properties which is why it is often used on dashboards for and pillars for motorsport

hi there, to do a full set of A, B & C pillars inc colour coding fixings you would be looking at £100 + post as required if you want me to source the parts or if you either send yours in for flocking or visit us to exchange for a ready done set you would be looking at £70 + post as required
headlinings of he type fitted to the corsa dont flock well and arent easy to ship so your best bet by far is to take it out and use spray dye on it to color it black, will be cheaper for you and give a better finish

Recieved a dash off of a fiesta mk1 for flocking, like many out there it has its issues in the way of damage so i decided to show some of the repair work as it comes together.
im doing this dash as a demonstration of what can be done, please be aware that to do this is normaly chargable as it is very time consuming.

first area of damage a split to the upper left side of the instrument binacle

split repaired with cyanoacryalate resin

after filling with resin and refinishing

below that a few more nicks and splits repaired the same way

dint in the right hand side of the instrument binacle

filled and refinished

drivers side lower corner of dash was crumbling and falling apart

soaked with resin and clamped in place to cure restoring it to shape and making it rigid again

drivers side of dash near fixing again crumbling away

same process used to restore shape and strength

next up the drivers top corner of the dash had the same issues

again soaked in resin and clamped to restore its shape and strength

the feed from the heater assembly had certainly seen some better days as had the mounting ponts for the top dash vents shown below it

restored to a more functional shape and the mounting points for the dash vent strengthened

holes in the bottom edge of the dash

repaired with resin them skim filled for a smooth finish

bottom edge of dash was breaking up and vinyl chipped away all along the lower edge

structure stabilised with resin

vinyl all glued back down and edge skim filled where needed

mounting hole in the edge of the dash was broken out

structure repaired and shaping re-finished

nick in the face of dashboard

repaired with resin so that split wont creep and sanded flush

hole in the back of dash

filled with resin and refinished

and finaly some pictures of the finished dash restored and ready to go
