Just put the TV on something to make it a little higher, then put the center in front of it?

Can't really tell if there's any room or not from that pic, the stand looks massive though!

If I've got my PS3 and amp on in that cupboard it gets a bit hot, wouldn't want to have it in an even more enclosed space.

Not a cool thread. It makes me want floorstanders which wont fit as my TV is too big. Tempted to downsize TV for bigger speakers

Turns out I have pics from right after the move.

Still same setup from one page back except I replaced the AVR with a Denon 2312.
Wall mounted the TV and removed a drawer to make room for the centre speaker. Having the speaker enclosed like that somewhat muffles the sound, but for now it's the best compromise.

I guess we have a fairly conservative use of colours in our home.

E34's, yeah. And thanks, they sound awesome too. Been playing without the sub for a while since it died on me and they actually have a surprisingly full sound, price considering (well, they did once I remembered to tell the AVR not to crossover to the turned off sub, that is... ).

I've recently gone for some Mordaunt Short Aviano bookshelfs for my front speakers as I don't have room for standmounts/floor standers.

I'm REALLY impressed and want to get a demo of the Mezzo range (the range above the Aviano's) so when I move (hopefully in summer) I can go for Mezzo centre and floorstanders then move my Aviano bookshelves to the rear.

Those Wharfedales are awesome for a compact kit. Looks the part too, though I'd personally keep the black front on them.

Do you feel the one small sub gives enough punch? Always surprised me they didn't go for a larger sub for this type of kit.

Loving them so far Gary, and an absolute bargain for the Aviano's as they're going discontinued I think. I paid £120 from MS themselves, Richer Sounds had them for £100 but not within 500miles of me

They're leagues apart from the Gale thingies I had before, and I'm sure they're still running in. I've got a bit of a cheap-o sub which is a bit scruffy and boomy but these speakers have allowed me to extend the crossover quite a bit and reduce the range the sub has to deal with as the speakers can handle the light bass really well.

Once I get moved I want either:

On standmounts or:

The floorstanders from the Mezzo range.

Gonna pick up the Mezzo centre in the second picture somepoint soon as I can fit that in my current setup.
