Well Friday i was changing a steering rack on my friends c and steviet was present and as i was rolling around on the ground stevie was giving the engine bay some strange looks and a scratch of the head. I Didnt even have to ask what he was thinking ..... (Saab Turbo ) So today seen the arrival of a gold 03 plate corsa c active ..




As you can see someone had kindly removed the engine for us, So it was time to strip the front end and get shot of some unwanted bits and to make room . The engine of choice was a 2.0 saab turbo lump which stevie conveniently had in stock.

Here is some pics of the fitting.




So with the engine positioned and gearbox side mounted we took a few sizes for the drivers mount and called it a night .

One last pic of the night getting the rad mounts positioned

No Not bored yet the megane made 242bhp yesterday with just a map so got big plans for it next year , This is stevies car mate just giving him a hand with it

this one is a full presure turbo model so it should be about 180bhp std but they are verry strong. a std engine should be good for 400bhp plus.

you now me danny i only do sleeprs lol. the plan is to keep it looking prty standard on a set of 16" wheels and thats only to cover the bigger brakes.

once its up and runing it will be remaped to around 270bhp for the shake down period then i might go for a turbo change and more power but that depends on how i can get it to handle.

Will also be keeping an eye on this...

Only thing that annoys me about those engines is the lop sided cam cover, makes it look like the engine is on the piss.
