clearly an engine in the rear

Look how the front wobbles under braking, the engine under the bonnet isn't connected to anything.

I can remember reading something about it having most of the bolts undone. Theres not going to be that much wiring on a Mk3 Escort.

they could have left the gearbox in gear so not needing to do any gearlinkage!

its been well prepped for a quick change but still a good watch :-)

The coolant system could be piped back into itself, its only going to run for 10secs so will never get hot enough to need a rad
Driveshafts would only need 2 bolts
As said gearbox could be left in gear
some form of quick release clutch cable
Fuel line onto a small fuel bottle attached to the block
Exhaust could have some form of quick release clamp
wiring could be on a connector block (like whats used for ECU's), realisticly what's needed on an old carb engine to move 10m, spark and earth and starter?
engine mounts could just have a vertical shaft which the engine drops over, no need to securely hold it in

Did a quick google, other forums suggesting a locked diff so would only need one driveshaft
