Definatly a matter of opinion. And also completely false in regards to the craft stuff coming out now. Ale is getting colder in general doe to younger people drinking it.

Warm ale is for oldies who think AutoVac is a good thing.

Ale shouldn't be warm either, tbh once some of them have warmed up too much I can't drink it Just cool. Not chilled, not warm. As Matty G said, room temp is a bit warm at the mo, which is a problem.

Btw, St Austell Tribute is the boss.

I've tried many odd bottles when shopping at morrisons but I'm just not getting along with any. They are just to dark for me.

Wibbly Wallaby by Wincle Brewery is a stunning pint. Put it on at a wedding I did recently and nailed 2 barrels in jut under 2 hours. Lovely drop

There's usually a decent selection of Badger ales in Sainsburys here. From memory there must usually be at least 4 or 5. Not that I know how many they do

I once got excited when I walked into a pub in town and they had Old Peculiar on tap. Even better was it was rated 5.9% instead of the 5.6% you get in the bottle What a fantastic pint that was.

Pales tend to be too "hoppy" for me.

Loads of places do Old Peculiar on tap down here Dave. Best thing about York, so many proper pubs with proper ales.

Usually lighter ales use a lager hop, hence the similar colour to a lager.

I've not been to that pub in ages now, but I think it was just the guest ale so doubt they've still got it. It's usually something local.

Loads of pubs with locally produced beers round here too that's why I thought I'd try and get in to them. Sick of going out to a pub and finding they don't do a decent lager like Peroni and having to make do with the shite that is Carling!
