not much happening.. just working on with the mock up.. now its the loom and ways i had planned to route/hide the loom the best i can

jackie

mass of loom

round the back on the inlet

gromit is the same size.. handy

AFM loom that needs extended to the bahind the drivers struttop.. where the airflow meter and filter will be relocated to

starter/alt/speed/interior power loom.. needs altered to match the old style 6cyl

bulkhead loom that needs tidied because its now on show with the servo/wipers

plenty of room round the servo..

jackie taking it all in

light/horn/outsidetemp loom refitted needs no work

get the boss dan to map it for a bar of boost

intercooler from an evo 9.. tight fit.. but sure thats how we like it

today i fitted the large alloy intercooler.. i bought for my corolla.. but i will but another one for it..

bumper bar was no mission so the bumper wil just he hung on

i really wanted to fit the older bumper.. but tbh i like the look of the facelifts

was up getting a few bits from the unit etc.. and thought id try on the manifolds and se what situation i was in..

looks to be an easy enough job than what i expected

rwd VS FWD manidolds.. if you cant tell what ones what.. then i dont know what to say lol

both pointing down towards the box/ selector.. same problem as jas had when he was doing his v6 snail cav

im just going to cut and weld simple as that..

the flanges i need to use one to make the exhaust breakble as it cant be fitted in one peice with out a flexi..

3litre heads..

polished then fitted.. after the exhaust is fabed and the engine is back on the stand to be build..

and the snail any guesses what its off? and its not a d turbo

cheers all

with the unit being a complete complete mess with things over the winter months.. i thought id pull it out side while its cleaned..

both lon619 and i were on the sauce last night.. so a bit of pre work lunch was in order..

then some where apparantly theres a corsa in there

then as soon as it was on its wheels.. i noticed a massive problem.. the sump.. the car is on 60mm jamex atm so thats sorta where i want it to sit.. the car is on 14 inch wheels.. and im fitting 16s.. so that will technally lift the chassis 1 inch

you get the idea.. more updates this week..

the new ECU also arrived from jason19..

steering wheel he also dontated.. thanks boss

its leather rather than poverty spec..

the colour the engine bay.. granda is a keen fisherman bought this to paint a few flys.. and the colour is epic.. B&q.. tenner a tin

how it looks on the pulleys/other redtop bits

and with the brake servo on full show it needed tidyed up..

thats all for now..

next plan of attack is fabricate the rear axle and get the brake lines and fuel lines in the car..

cheers
