A mate had a Boxter S that made 260bhp on the rollers and couldn't get past mine when I first had it.. at 265bhp.

in a straight line between a 2.7 and a xe wont be much in it, boxster far suprior in every way apart from a out and out drag

True, not much in it. 986 Boxster has much longer legs, though. It'll be at 160+ when XE will be hovering at 140+.

987 Boxster S, however, is awesome!
Especially with its PDK and launch. It was a good match up against my Evo running at 400bhp.

Anyway, I've never had a small car "whoosh" past me yet

I appreciated the mental noise of VTEC going past, they got a thumbs up and a nod

I miss mine LOADS.

Nothing like almost driving into the back of people on the M25 who get out your way and just planting your foot in 5th means you nearly rear end them as the pedal has 2 stages, go and warp 9
