2morrow i will be fitting some 6x9's in my car on he parcel shelf.I was wondering does anyone have any elp,like,how do i wire them up and stuff like that-any help would be apreciated-cheers

if you already have rear speakers in your corsa, wiring them up will be dead easy. Just take new wires from the existing wires to make em go.

Use a jigsaw with a decent blade, and make sure you make a template

using an MDF shelf will improve the sound aswell.

yeah,when i get paid i will buy some mdf and make my own,but for noe their going on the shelf,So its a case of using the exisiting speaker wire and wiring them up.What do u mean template,as in template of the speaker so it is a snugg fit?

yeah. Why cut your shelf, just wait and buy a sheet of 18mm mdf for £10 and carpet for £15 or so. Not worth cutting the original incase, like me, you wanna move them in the future.

having said that mine crispy nines are screwd into a mdf plate which i made.

cutting ur original shelf is risky as it can be hard to find a replacement if needed

Don't cut ur original shelf cos there £140 to buy from Vauxhall and it's near impossible to find one at the scrappies, I know cos I did the same thing and now regretted it and still waiting for one.....

hmmm , so does that mean if u hav 6x9s then u cant have no rear speakers ????
