My Mrs would kill me if I spent £2k on her engagement ring. Were only just about spending that on our entire wedding.

We'd both rather spend the money on something useful like paying off the mortgage.

you need to go past a jewellery shop with the missus, and subtly ask her what type of rings she likes. i did this but months in advance so it was still a suprise when i asked her. You don't wanna be spending that much on a ring, and her hating it!!

I picked this one myself, good guess and right size. Liked it as has ok size stone and has tiny ones around the edge so its really sparkly and imo makes the stone look bigger.
