Hi everyone I have been a member on here a while but never really had any input, I mainly browse the site for info and motivation lol so I thought I would share my ongoing corsa project which I have had off the road a few times now lol. Any comments welcome cheers Leigh..
First attempt at spraying bay with rattle cans ...vvv

terrible welds...due to welder powered form a cheap genny..kept tripping the genny..

First engine in, ran ok until a blocked injector caused a piston to melt oops...vvv

This is how she stood for a while, until engine number two span a bearing oops..vvv

This is how she looked after a few changes plus another c20xe..vvv

This is how she looks now after a new crossmember and plating kit and a new bay respray..vv

Pretty much standard interior apart from the steering wheel, nice subtle approach..vvv

changed the lights back to standard looks much better me thinks??...vvv

Engine number 1 vvv

Engine number 2 vvv

Engine number 3 vvv

and how she stands now being taken apart for a cosmetic freshen up..vvv

Few shiney bits

sandblast cabinet makes easy work of cleaning up old inlet...nice coat of silver me thinks vv

old powdercoating came off and was rusting so cleaned, blasted, sprayed = nice n fresh...vvv

sandblasted but needs painting still ..vvv

I am now giving her a revamp after the shody old crossmember and plating kit gave way (poor old welding lol) I have now welded in a new crossmember and strengthening kit and resprayed the bay with a proper gun rather than my original rattlecan job lol.. any comments welcome leigh

Nice project suits the new alloys, I havent thought about changing mine yet even though speedlines are too common/old now.
I have bought one of these ebay 4-2-1 manifold and correction/conversion pipe for the exhaust system ,I just need to replace the centre section and a new backbox can you reccomend a nice quiet system as im sick of how loud mine is cheers leigh..

Don't worry she was well loved. I had her back on the road for a good while but she just needed far too much bodywork including a respray because of idiots denting my doors and rear quarters. I am purchasing a very clean low mileage sport on Friday so watch this space...should be a good one.

It was a hard decision to be fair not one I took lightly, that's why I'm buying this other corsa as I regretted it...
