so this has popped up on another forum and all going well im getting it sunday

its quite a rare kit if im honest nowadays, needs a little tidy up and so faffing with the front as its meant to be a one piece front end... some one has butchered it

the plus points are...

it will fit the slightly wider track

it looks mint

its going to save all the weight the x16 adds

its costing me about the same as one of the quarters in need

the front

the quarters

so there you go... needs a tart up but doesnt look in bad nic, the sellers comminication is amazing and he is a respected member of imp club and retro rides so cant see anything going tits up with the collection.

will probably try and use my bonnet with this front or maybe bond it back and use as a lift of front, need to space frame the front a tad too

Coming on really well John. Good choice with the Rawlson Arches. Love em.

You done much thinking about what your going to use rear hub wise? I would avoid running front hubs on the rear as you will have all sorts of issues with bump steer etc.

Use something thats cheap and already mid engined and rear wheel drive. MGF rear hubs and arms etc.
Did you ever see the lad who had the k-series one on the imp club. That used to be a quick little car!
