The girlfriends just got a corsa c, basic 1.0 life with a set of wheels on it.
What simple mods / sri replacements are reccomended to improve things slightly?
Heres a quick pic of it, picking it up tomorrow. 06 plate with 38k on it

standard wheels and a let conversion

The badges will be coming off first when I have a chance. It does need lowered but want to keep the comfort plus her work has half a dozen speed bumps at least on the road leading up to it. Il look out for a cheap subtle back box for it, for looks mainly. Irmy grills around £100 are they? Just going to keep an eye on ebay and here for some things cropping up, not wanting to spend too much money on it and itl likely be me buying things for it

Whats some reccomendations for wheels? Vaux im thinking theres the sri wheels or the sxi exclusives. Softstars but they only look good in 16"s and wouldnt go that big

If you don't want to go as big as 16's then the SRi wheels are out so go for SXI ones.
Irmy grilles are about £180 new iirc.
Bit odd that it has pre-facelift headlights on an 06 plate, but hey ho

Ah shit, didnt even think about sri's being 16"s. Might stick with the ones on it, shes happy enough with them and in good nick. Theres an irmscher backbox on ebay arm, twin triangle style. Advertised for corsa c but came off a vectra, dont think that would be a direct fit like it says?

Facelift lights only come on certain models
SRi/SXi/SXi+/Design are a few of them off the top of my head
LIFE is a base spec model so wont come with them  hope this helps

Im 99% sure the basic models such as the life come with non projector headlights so no worries about a front ender,
it was only the 1.0 design which is the top spec 1.0 (which my girlfriend has to confirm my knowledge) which came with the sportier projector lights, smoked rears, fully colour coded and has air con
and also the sxi and sri's obv come with those above headlights
hope this helps clear things up

exclusives or sri's for the wheels, any reason why you dont want to go to 16's?
sri grilles are always a good mod and theyre pretty cheap from vauxhall, and a colour coded/black v grille.

As said an irmscher grill or spray yours black ? or for simple cheaper mods other than an 160 quid grill lol as mentioned SRi lower grilles, wind deflectors, smoked projector headlights ?

I'm sure I've still got a stainless twin oval back box off the wifes old exclusive in the loft you could have for cheap and im only in Aberdeen

Im glad thata cleared up about the lights, I did have a good look around it so thought if it has been in a front ender then its noticeable!
Just rather stick with the smaller wheels, may end up going 16"s though. Shouldnt be much difference for tyre prices? May end up needing lowering aswell
Mirrors will be needing colour coded I reckon, bumper plastics will be getting done too. Really want to do something with the grills too but dont want the expense of the irmy one seeing as its not my car

sri lowers, about £25 all in from vauxhall. people have used the middle one and modded it to make a top grille as well

Is that all it costs from Vaux for the lot? I need a new passenger fog light bit as one of the clips is broken so it doesn't fir properly Will have to get on that.

Nae bad price from vauxhall for that lot. What have people done with the fogs though? Left blank or fitted fog lights? Or can you get grills without holes for fogs?
