Hope I never have to replace any parts on mine, mega money. I just missed out on some 18" R109 wheels for £340! They are £1380 on that site. Was going to spray them gloss black

Although I probably won't bother, my brakes are absoltutely fine on track, no fade at all with 5.1 and 1144's.

R56 JCW brakes are £959 mate.

These are R53 JCW ones.

Better off getting the once piece AP's for £700 quid.

I don't actually care, like I said my brakes are fine. Better than the Astra ones on track, but car is slower and lighter so it's fine.

youve never owned a car with anything other then normal single pot calipers though so you may not know what an improvement they could be, neither have i, but il soon know, like i said welcome to try mine, you might be amazed, although i doubt it

Listen to you, am I going to have to dig out the thread where I was going to spend £1200 on AP's and you were telling me it was a waste of money?

Or dig out the thread where you told me uprated pads my no difference?

My brake setup I've had but never got chance to try out on track was my Carbotech XP8's with standard discs, fantastic. Amazing. Utterly brilliant.

But I don't see the point, you do even less track days than me FFS.

I'll be happy with the car once the front end has been sprayed and I have my wheels, no more upgrades.

Different situation then to now you imbecile.

Anyway, I've hardly stripped it out and turned it into a track car. Some coilovers, a pulley, intercooler, CAT back and some brake pads and a set of wheels hardly constitute a full blown makeover.
