Rant time. Apparently disliking gay people is called "homophobia".
A phobia is defined as an "irrational fear or dislike of something", eg spiders.
I don't have an irrational fear, or an irrational dislike of gay people, I just don't agree with what they do on a moral level, a sexual level or from an evolutionary viewpoint. I don't like the fact they are more likely to spread STDs like aids. I don't like the in-your-face pride marches, funded by the taxpayer. Where are the straight-pride marches?
So why is any of that a "phobia"?
It's not. It's a considered opinion.

Over compensating a bit there 
I have no problem with gay people, the worlds a colourful place. What I dislike and seem to be coming across more and more is having to sit and listen to details of gay lads sex lifes. That I object to, and they seem to be the culprits for going way over the top with wanting to tell folk, second only to teenage boys. I don't like hearing it from anyone, but they seem to want to parade their sexuality, as if to goad some sport of reaction from people.

There is nothing wrong with having sex for pleasure.

So instead of calling it homophobia, would rather call it gay bashing, discrimination, prejudice?
So the few that speak about it all the time just to seek attention, isn’t the whole gay community.

I think as you grow up you learn to accept gays etc more. I was homophobic when I was younger because I thought it was cool to be.
But having worked in the hotel industry which is populated by alot of gays I soon grew up. And thats how i've got several gay friends. Been on nights out to Canal street in manc etc with them and had a great time.
