You must have been doin about 10 mph danny, as soon as you boot it the petrol motors kick in!

Looking at the monthly costs also they are bargains!

Depending on 20% or 40% tax but anywhere from £79 a month all in to £204 a month!

i would imagine the fuel improvement is done to the tryes and wheels as they are tiny

Same with the BMW ED editions

guys at work who have the ED e90's are getting well into the 60's for MPG and they are pretty nippy cars with 280ibs/ft

my car does 60mpg at 55mph (on the inaccurate clocks, for John)

oh, and does 35mpg in Norfolk

Joe, you're clearly driving it wrong then... I took the old one up and down the Welsh mountains, chasing rally cars about in the pissing rain last year, Did over 500 miles and used a tank and a bit with it, ~40MPG and I was ragging the SHIT out of it. Your point about the tax is right though, for him it's a worry free car & all fuel for £140 a month or something stupid. The miles he racks up means these days he's using that much fuel in a week.
