What does everyone think of these? Thinking about buying one. 12k brand new on the road. Just reading in Autocar, they timed it to 60 in 6.5 seconds and in an EVO road test, it was timed to 100 faster than an Impreza turbo! Don't think there's much out there to touch em for the price!

They are great apart from the fact that you don't get a lot of goodies, i.e no ABS or Air con stuff like that (to keep it light)

Think ive bought the wrong car then

Renault website says 7 actually.... and parkers say 7.9.

No way is it 6.5 seconds

not 6.5 to 60 no way and wont beat an impreza turbo to 100 im afraid...still very nice motors...love the blue paint and the speedline alloys...I would have one right now!!

Evo Mag (Datron timed) October 2002 : Clio - 0-60 6.5, 0-100 17.7

mates impreza tubo is standard and is around 13 or 14 seconds to 100

the bug eyed one which they tested only has 215hp and is really crap 60-100. clio cup is light but has no ABS.

True, no ABS is not good on a brand new car, neither is no electric windows. Still, its all in the name of performance!
