Allied- 6/10 bit slow to start, good middle, ending was too slow and predictable, something to watch on a bored sunday afternoon

if you want Brad Pitt acting in a war time movie, watch Fury or Inglorious Basterds...more enjoyable

Rogue One: 5/10

Soulless corporate fan-servicing with a dodgy sound track, poor story, constant brainless fight scenes and more fan servicing. Including more advanced vehicle technology that the next three films that follow it.

I wish they would just stop.

Still not watched any star wars films, to me it just seems like they fly about from planet to space station, shoot off a few lasers and then "punch it wookie" and they off somewhere else to either talk bollox about silly made up names of people or places and then shoot more lasers.

Son of Saul. 10/10

Still thinking about it several days later.
Probably the grimmest, bleakest thing I've ever watched.

The magnificent 7 - 4.5/10

So slow in parts I lost concentration and couldn't see the point in the film really

I faaaaaaacking loved it!

I'd say it's the best one out of them all.
Darth Vader gave me chills. Tarkin was bad ass too.
I didn't like how Donnie Yen put on so much of an accent though, it felt weird.
The cheesey quotes from droid k-2so was a little iffy, but I still loved him in it.

9/10 from me

I rather enjoyed rogue one, probably an 8 or 9/10 for me.

Actually thought the "fan servicing" was rather restrained tbf, expected worse. I think it respected A New Hope and the CGI cameos were just the right side of acceptable IMO.

What technology advancements are you referring to Jambo?

saw on Tues in 3D, great for the dog fights in space, not so great for the close up shots/dialogue

but im with kyle on the film rating overall for me, but im a huge fan so a little biased

last 30mins were best

Inferno 6.5/10
Think I had higher expectations for it... some of the acting seemed a bit wooden too.

I also really enjoyed Rogue One, 8-9/10. Went to see it this afternoon, my gut wrenched a little in the last few frames but won't post any spoilers just in case.

I'm a fanboy, and Star Wars was a big deal for me as a child, so with each new one released the first time I see them I'm 9years old again. Brilliant.
