This started with a late night ebay bidding session, managed to get the car for a bargain but didnt end till quite late at night

so I left mine yesterday at approx 3am(no pics as was dark )
This is the car I set off to collect...

Managed to get from plymouth to liverpool(Well Wirral, but you all talk the same ) and met up with Adam-D at about 8am to pick up a flocked dash!! pics later!

I then went to view the corsa I had won, 1st time Ive ever bid on a car on ebay

I then stopped in stroud to meet ly51ohh and picked up some GSI skirts and arches

Then went to bridgewater and picked up some wheel adaptors to fit my new wheels!!

by this time with the heat and traffic, the pregnant missus was getting quite pissed off and wanted to get home. so we did exactly that and got home at about 4.00pm.

I was excited about then having my new project on the drive and have already started removing the dash in favour of the flocked one!!

More pics later today when i can be arsed

Future plans in time for pvs...

Fit D90's with some stretch tyres
Fit a new tailgate(as has a few bubbles by wiper, and im not happy with them there)
Fit Flocked Dash
Remove back seats and paint the rear
Fit OMP Suede steering wheel
I also need to lower it

The wheels in the picture are 14" Softstars if anyone fancies some cheap runabout wheels then u2u me

well today started with a wash of the car...

this then went to a clay bar(ive never used clay before and couldnt belive the results)

then onto super resin polish, then to autoglym gold class wax. the results were very good imo. but still needs the gsi kit fitting!

I then went onto removing and fitting the new dash... wasnt as hard as i thought it would be. only real problem i came across was the flocked glove box wouldnt fit as i have aircon.. Is there a way to swap the glove box handle over???
Heres a pic:

in between doing this, i set about painting my Vectra Calipers(also went and bought some Meriva 280mm discs and a new set of pads) I didnt get any pictures or fit these purely because they wont fit behind the current wheels. hopefully mondays job when the D90's are fitted!!

Today started with a maccies breakfast then I came home and looked across a few forums...

a set of bucket seats had been listed forsale with harnesses and were in as new condition and werent very old. I thought fuck it, another road trip! So 300 Miles later and I have them home! Tomorrows job to fit them!

Hopefully Tuesday will bring my OMP steering wheel and new floor mats!

Wheels 'might' be getting fitted tomorrow however i havent yet found a lowering kit for it so will look a touch silly

thats a proper shit picture aswel

will get some more when i fit them tomorrow.

GTE Dashes are gay, had one in my let nova for a few days and then flogged it.
When you boot it and say go from 30-70 quite quick, the GTE clocks take ages to catch up. whereas normal clocks work perfect

Right been busy this morning on the car...

Started by fitting the bucket seats, I also have red sparco harnesses but dont think they go with the blue so want a black set, hence not fitting them.

We then set about fitting the 280mm Brake upgrade(can supply this with new discs/pads and calipers for £90 Delivered if anyone wants a setup) no fitting pictures unfortunately but you can see this just through the wheels...

We then set about fitting the wheels... Porsche D90 7J fronts and 8J rears with Kumho Ecsta's
What do you guys think? Yes it needs lowering but havent decided on a setup as of yet.
