True. Having said that though, my bosses 1.3 had 110k of trouble free motoring. Still going strong on 143k

I've got an ecoflex 1.3cdti, and tbh it's not that slow. Epic mpg and nice to drive.

I would personally go for the 1.7cdti, just for the extra grunt as and when I needed it, if not and you wanted a corsa, could you find a 1.7Dti similar to what (I forget his name but he drove lorries and trucks) on here has and map/DTUK it so its nicer to drive?

Ive had both. The 1.7 is mich nicer to driver.

The 1.3 does a little more to the gallon but not by much.

Did Vauxhall ever do a Corsa with the 90 PS 1.3? The 1.7 is probably a better drive than the 1.3 75 PS model. If mine is anything to go by, they'll be shit on fuel in town but once you get them cruising on a motorway they sip fuel.

The 1.3's are economical and a low tax band but they suffer from cold starting problems, there is a faster cranking startermotor available though.

I have the 1.3 in my work Combo van and it's shit The combo needs a 1.7. I imagine the corsa would be good enough with the 1.3 in though.

Yes, in the D - was a 6 speed too. Parents had one.

Nippy little thing when it wanted to be tbh and returned 65mpg all day long.
