Not many pics today since I just wanted to get on with it.

Hours work saw the dash out..

Then by the end of the day..

I did get a quick chance to give the outside of the silver one a jet wash but not a proper wash yet (No pics)
Cleaned the engine bay though

Spare few hours tomorrow should see the brakes and suspension removed, then its just the pas rack, spoiler and a few other small bits.

After 12v epic MOT fail yesterday I'm skint, So plans have changed slighty on this one, Just going to clean the engine bay, Paint the bulkhead and all the engine etc, Still be clean tidy and nice, Just not as nice as I was hoping for. Once its built, running etc I will prob pull the engine and do the bay like I planned.

So for the moment, Just a couple of pics of it stripped since I'll get paint later.

Cross member will be stripped and then repainted.

One clean bulkhead, Just a shame vauxhall dont paint the bulkheads on cars with sound deadening.

Aircon box etc removed, Your see why eventually.

Hopefully get the bulkhead done asap, then I'll get on with cleaning and painting the engine etc, Aim to get it in next weekend providing Chris can help me

Here:

No before pic, Straight into welding it.

Acid etch'ed while I got more gas.

Filler slapped on and then primed again.

Got my -40 rear springs on along with the 6spokes, They have massive 195/55 tyres though.

I will sand the filler tomorrow evening, along with rust busting on the corss member etc.

Could of got more done today but I'd had enough lol

Want it done quick so.

As for plans, Get the bay looking nice, 1400 16v in with a few small mods like powerbox. Depending what cash is like at the time I'll either MOT it again and use it a bit, or just go straight into the turbo conversion (Baby XE Turbo).

Only had time to do some filler sanding and apply a bit more filer, Primed before applying new filler so i could see it all easy.

Still got more filler to go on and a fair amount more work, Then I need to mask it all, prime it all and then get busy with Star Silver.
